Medicals At The Center along with its various affiliated businesses collectively, want to inform you that we use your data to provide and improve Medical At the Center Mobile Application and Website (“The Platforms”) Services. By using the Platforms’ Services, you agree to the collection, use and disclosure of information in accordance with this Policy.

Personal Data means any data relating to an individual who can be identified, directly or indirectly, based on that information. This may include information such as names contact details (online) identification data, online identifiers or other characteristics specific to that individual. 

This Privacy Policy applies when you visit our Platforms, solutions and other services including events and web chat communication that refer or display a link to this policy. This Privacy Policy may be supplemented or replaced by additional privacy statements or terms provided to you from time to time.

WHO WE ARE?

Personal information provided to, or collected by the Platforms is controlled by Medicals At The Center (the “Company” or “We”) and/or one of its affiliates or subsidiaries. We are committed to safeguarding your personal information.

THE SERVICE (the “Services”)

The Primary objective of the Platforms is to provide patients with convenient and secure access to their medical information and Services. The Platforms should aim to improve patient engagement streamline communication between patients and healthcare providers and promote better health outcomes

key objectives include: 

  • Improve patients access to medical records
  • Allow patients to easily view their medical history, test results, prescriptions, and upcoming appointments. 
  • Enable patients to securely message their healthcare providers with questions or concerns 
  • Enhance Patient- healthcare provider Communication. 
  • Facilitate two-way communication between patients and their care team
  • Provide a platform for healthcare providers to do teleconsultations, send reminders, updates, and educational information to patients

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

The type of personal information we collect depends on your relationship with us and Services we deliver to you. To that end, we may collect the following personal information about you:

  • Name, and contact details, such as, first and last name, gender, email address, postal address, telephone number.
  • Work-related information, such as, job title and other employment or education information.
  • Medical History, a detailed record of past medical conditions, surgeries, treatments, and hospitalizations. 
  • Current Medications, a list of all prescription and over-the-counter medications the user is currently taking. 
  • Allergies, information on any known allergies to medications, foods, or environmental factors.
  • Chronic Conditions, ongoing health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, or asthma that require continuous management.
  • Family Medical History, health conditions and diseases that run in the user’s family, which could indicate genetic predispositions.
  • Vaccination Records, documentation of all vaccinations received by the user, including dates and types of vaccines.
  • Account credentials, such as, passwords and other security information for authentication and access.
  • Financial information, such as, bank account, credit and debit card numbers for processing of payments. 
  • Usage information, such as, behavioral information about how you navigate within our Services and which elements of our Services you use the most and information regarding the Services you wish to order, wish list, preferences, interest, etc.
  • Computer, device and connection information, such as, IP address, browser type and version and location, advertising identifiers, cookie or tracker identifiers and related information.
  • Audio and visual information, such as your voice and image as captured in photographs, video, or audio recordings if you leave us a message.
  • Diet and Nutrition, information on the user’s eating habits, dietary restrictions and nutritional intake.
  • Physical activity levels, details on the user’s exercise routine, frequency, intensity, and type of physical activities. 
  • Smoking and alcohol consumption, information on the user’s smoking habits and alcohol intake, including frequency and quantity. 
  • Sleep Patterns, data on the user’s habits, including duration, quality and any issues such as insomnia. 
  • Symptoms description, a list of the symptoms the user is experiencing with description.
  • Lab Test results, results from blood tests, urine tests and other laboratory examinations. 
  • Imaging results (X-rays, MRIs, etc.), finding from diagnosis imaging studies such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds. 
  • Vital Signs, regular measurements of key health indicators such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature and respiratory rate.  
  • Usage Data. may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
  • Any other information shared by you through our Platform, eStores, and other products and services, including web chat communications.

If you are under [18] years of age, you may only use or access the Services, with the approval of a Legal Guardian or a parent. The Platforms   is not responsible for any use of the Services by individuals under [18] without such express approval. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from persons under [18] years of age, without explicit approval from Legal Guardian or parent. If the Platforms learns that personal information of persons under 18] has been collected on or through the Services, without proper approval, we will take appropriate steps to delete this information.

  • Service Providers, as we may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services (“Service Providers”), to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Services are used;

Whenever we share personal information internally or with third parties in other countries, we have appropriate safeguards in place in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, or other transfer safeguard specified in the applicable data protection laws such as binding corporate rules, a mutual agreement or derogations. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Your personal information will be processed to the extent necessary for the performance of our obligations, to comply with legal obligations, and for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which the information is collected, in accordance with our data retention policies and the applicable data protection laws. Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred and maintained on computers located outside of the country’s jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside Lebanon and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Lebanon and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

The Platforms will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.
